- At first you can open device manager from the system control panel Applet.
- After device manager open, then locate the hardware device clicking the [+] icon whatever you want to roll back the driver for.
- If you finish finding the hardware, then you can right click on the hardware’s name. You can choose properties.
- After you choose properties windows, then you can click the driver tab.
- After you click on the driver tab and then just click on the roll back driver button.
- If you sure want to roll back to the previous driver, then you can click the yes button. And previously installed driver will be restored.
- You can click the close button at the bottom of the device properties screen.
- On the system settings change dialog box you can click yes, then your hardware settings have changed. If you can’t see this message, then you can click OK on the system properties window and close the control panel window.
- Then your computer will automatically restart when windows XP starts again, it will load with the device driver you had previously installed for this hardware.
