Without the help or use of any software, you can shutdown your computer in a specific time. You can do this from Run command, where you have to type some coding. You can also shutdown your system on network if you have access administrative. For that type this command: “shutdown -s -m\computername -t60″, see below.
1) First of all, go to start and click Run.
2) Type code: at 10:00 shutdown -s and to cancel the running program type code: shutdown -a.
Alternative method or computer shutdown shortcuts
1) At first right click on your desktop and go to new and choose shortcuts.
2) After that, window shortcut will open or a box will open and it will says “Type the location of the item” and there type your time, when you want to shutdown your system for example: Type in “ shutdown -s-t 300” without any quotation mark and click next, where 300 refers to amount of seconds, and the system will shutdown after five minutes.
3. Then, make up a name and after that you’re done.
If you want to cancel that running program, then, go desktop and create another shortcuts and type there “shutdown -a” without the quotes this will help you cancel.
Here is also the way to shutdown your system on daily basis so, just go to:
1 ) start menu then, go to all programs>accessories>system tools>shedule tasks.
2. After that you will be able to see three tabs, where first one is Task. here in Run type “shutdown -s” in “Run as” type “NT AUTHORITYSYSTEM”
3. In shedule Tab, set your required schedule and press OK. If it asks for the password just click the OK and now you’re done.
