I think everybody knows and heard about XP bootable CD. Yes, it is a CD, which we use while formatting or repairing windows. Three months ago, I got a problem with my PC. There was a problem in my CD-ROM and it wasn’t functioning. I have to repair my windows, but I couldn’t because of the faulty CD-ROM. Therefore, I couldn’t repair my windows through XP bootable CD. I thought twice, but I couldn’t get idea and at last I found a way or idea or tricks to make a pen drive bootable through the help of my friend and I repaired my windows.
Here, I have also shared all my experience and way of making a pen drive bootable. You can also solve your some related problem so, read following tips and follow them respectively.
Make your Pen drive bootable
1. First of all, I have copied all file from XP CD to my pen drive and download a ‘MakeBootable’ software because with the help of MakeBootable software we can make our pen drive bootable without erasing any data in USB device.
2. So, first download a MakeBootable software application from website.
3. Then, I run the MakeBootable executable file to open the ‘MakeBootable Device’ window.
4. Before running this software, make sure that your USB drive must be in FAT file system not it FAT32 and NTFS file system.
5. After that, I have selected the USB device, which I want to make bootable.
6. At the bottom of the window, there is an option or button “MakeBootable” and now, simply click on it to begin the process.
7. After the process finished, we can use it as a bootable device, but before using it, note that you have to change your BIOS setting so, restart your computer and press ‘Delete’ to enter in BIOS setting.
8. After that, go to BIOS setting and make first boot USB flash drive.
