Enable and Disable task manager when it disabled by virus.
- First, you can go to task manager through two ways.
- One is right click on task bar and go to task manager.
- Second are through short-cut key and it ctrl + alt + Del. You also can go to task manager by clicking this.
- If you have Windows XP, you can follow following process.
- First of all, go to start button and go to run.
- Where you have to type ‘Regedit’ or ‘Regedit.exe’ and press Enter of OK.
- After then Registry Editor Dialogue box appears where you can see my computer and then HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_USERS, HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG respectively.
- Choose and select HKEY_CURRENT_USER and click at the plus (+) sign, which seems in front of it.
- After then click the ‘Software’ (same process as above).
- then click ‘Microsoft’ ‘Windows’ ‘Current Version’ ‘Policies’ ‘System’
- Then look for the name: Disable Taskmgr.
- Just delete this name or you may also change its value: 1 to disable and 0 to enable. In this case we want it to enable so just enter the value 0.
